Srinagar, Jan 23 (KNO): Flight operations at Srinagar International Airport were completely suspended on Friday morning as heavy snowfall and poor visibility disrupted air traffic across the Valley, officials said. A senior official at Srinagar Airport told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that while flight schedules initially witnessed intermittent cancellations and delays, operations were later fully suspended as weather conditions deteriorated. “As of now, all arriving and departing scheduled flights for the day stand cancelled due to poor visibility and passengers safety,” the official said, adding that this includes services operated by Air India, IndiGo, Air India Express, SpiceJet and Akasa Air. Earlier, at least 26 arrivals and departures were cancelled, including major flights connecting Srinagar with Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Jammu—(KNO)
